Body Science USA is owned and operated by Joel and Deborah Mosley.
Joel Mosley Joel is a graduate of The Masters College with a degree in bio-mechanics and has been a professional trainer in the fitness industry for the past 11 years. He has been a certified personal trainer for 9 years, with one year as the #1 trainer at Gold’s Gym Santa Clarita. Joel was a Santa Clarita Spectrum trainer for 1 year, and at Santa Clarita Athletic Club he was one of the most desired and requested trainers, always listed in the top 3 trainers for 4 years straight. Joel has maintained his own in-home private personal training business in Santa Clarita for 5 years. He was an amateur boxer in Michigan for 6 years, was a junior Golden Gloves champion, and has been a professional boxer (state licensed) for 3 years. Joel has UCLA certified training, CPR certification for adults, babies and children, and is certified by AFAA. Joel’s private clients have increased their bone density by up to 13% (2-3% is considered “good” by the medical community). As an actor, Joel has appeared on such shows as Battle Dome (UPN TV) and Extreme Gong as the “Hunk of the Day” (Game Show Network). Joel has modeled for The Goddess Within (Santa Clarita) ads in Edwards Theatres, and appeared in Men’s Health magazine. His college basketball team was in the NAIA regional championship in 1994 and ranked 5th nationally. Joel has ten years total business experience in Santa Clarita, and is an annual donor to the Sheila E. Children’s Fund foundation.
Deborah Mosley For 11 years, Debbie owned and operated Toddler Town Day Care in Castaic, with 30 employees serving 500 families. Among the programs she offered were: California state referral, California state handicapped/special needs and education for severely handicapped children, LAUSD handicapped daily commuters, subsidized children from low income, and the USDA food program. After two years of wholesale clothing experience, Debbie owned and operated U Wear It Well, a retail clothing store on Lyons Avenue at Walnut Street in the Victoria Shopping Center for two more years. Debbie also has a medical terminology certificate (pre-med); AFAA certified as a personal trainer/group exercise instructor, specializing in kickboxing, additionally certified in nutrition and golf performance. Debbie was a Santa Clarita Spectrum trainer, and has maintained a private personal fitness trainer clientele in Santa Clarita for 3 years. She also provided in-home supportive/assistive living to a 35-year-old autistic woman in Santa Clarita. She met her own personal weight-loss goal of 45 pounds, has maintained that weight ever since, and currently is one of our featured “before-and-after” models in advertisements for GRAVITAS INC. Debbie has 15 total years’ experience in Santa Clarita businesses, has been a board member of the Santa Clarita Chamber of Commerce, is an annual donor to the Sheila E. Children’s Fund foundation, and an annual donor to the Santa Clarita Boys & Girls Club auction.
